“I was ordained into the ministry and began working with troubled and delinquent teens. I spent 24 years working with teenagers in a residential environment in Ohio and Indiana. I earned my MA in clinical counseling in 2005. During my 24 years of ministry to teens, I had experience as: Education Director(1 yr), Development Director(1 yr), House Parent (16 yrs), Supervision and Case Management(6 yrs).
I have been able to use my experience and my education to minister to the Ranchers’ spiritual, and emotional needs. They are a joy to work with, and have responded well to group counseling. I have become keenly aware that the Ranchers have great potential to understand and work through their emotional and spiritual needs. Their response and acceptance to my ministry at Rainbow Acres has been phenomenal.
One of the most rewarding responses has been from a female Rancher. When I made an observation that her behavior was greatly improved, her reply was ‘it is because I accepted Jesus into my heart.’ ” |
