What is Rainbow Acres?
Assistant to the President
For a year and a half I lifted my heart to God with the desire to serve Him in some way: to find my ministry. Through a series of events and an incredible orchestration of timing, I found myself in Camp Verde working at Rainbow Acres.
I had never heard of this place two weeks before applying! God’s loving kindness and providence has exceeded my expectations by placing me here. You see, I grew up next door to a cousin with mental and physical disabilities. I was a part of his everyday life for 12 years. The lessons I learned were priceless. My heart often broke when I saw how people would recoil or say nasty things about him when we were in public.
We are God’s hands and feet. I feel especially privileged to be a part of Rainbow Acres’ mission in enhancing the quality of life of the Ranchers. Rainbow Acres employs exciting programs that bless the Ranchers. This place is truly amazing. Come visit and you will see and feel what I mean. |
