What is Rainbow Acres? CHRISTINE WALKER, RN Health and Wellness Director Christine and her husband Tom have lived in Arizona since 1984, moving to Camp Verde in 1989. She began her nursing career in 1974 in Indiana, where the rest of her family still reside. Her most recent position was that of executive director for the Kachina Point Health Care Center, where she served for 12 years. Since moving to the Verde Valley, she has been very active in a wide variety of civic and professional organizations. Christine comes to Rainbow with a tremendous inventory of experience and expertise. “I came to Rainbow Acres out of a deep love of nursing and a desire to get back to a more hands on position,” says Christine. “I am amazed at the love of the Ranchers, their abilities and enthusiasm for life. I have been inspired by the Ranchers and the other employees who give so much to make this a very special place.”
