Admission Procedure

So, you have decided that Rainbow Acres is the caring community that you want your loved one to call home. Now what? Accurately completing the application procedures can be confusing and difficult, but Rainbow is committed to helping you navigate the process.

It is essential that the applicant is a good fit for Rainbow Acres, and vice versa. To ensure that this is the case, Rainbow has developed a two-part admission application – the pre-application and the full application – to assess the applicant's physical, mental and social health, as well as his or her interests and personality. For the pre-application, the applicant's family member or guardian is asked to distribute, complete and return a number of information releases and evaluations (e.g. a current psychological evaluation). For the full application, the family member or guardian of the applicant fills out a detailed questionnaire about the applicant. Both sections of the application are sent out together so they can be worked on simultaneously, but the pre-applicant must be completed before Rainbow can accept the full application. Upon completion of the application, there is a final interview with Rainbow Acres employees.

Rainbow's Admissions Officer will provide all the necessary forms and instructions, and work with you to make sure you have everything you need to complete the application quickly and easily.
