What is Rainbow Acres? Photo Tour Rainbow Acres is a ranch-style community for adults with developmental disabilities. At Rainbow Acres, job skills, social standards, and self-help methods are taught through the love and concern of Christian people. The primary emphasis of the Rainbow Acres total-life concept is to foster a sense of self-worth in each Rancher through positive qualities of family-style living in a loving and accepting community. Rainbow is a place of hope, help, and healing for adults with developmental disabilities and their families. Although we have a state-of-the-art campus, we never forget that buildings do not care for people — people care for people. That is why we emphasize nurturing love and compassion in our caregivers.
