This morning the Yavapai County Board of Supervisors recognized excellence at Rainbow Acres in two ways during their meeting in Cottonwood.

First, Chef April Palmer and two Ranchers who are members of the Kitchen Crew, working to make lunch and dinner for everyone here, received the Golden Plate Award. This recognition is for restaurants and commercial food service kitchens that maintain high standards of safety and go an entire year with no critical citations in food handling and safety.

Then Rainbow Acres was again recognized in a different way, when a check was given from the monies provided through the Yavapai-Apache Nation annual donation of funds for charitable purposes.

Margie Beach accepted the funds on behalf of Rainbow Acres, and is pictured with the members of the Board and the check. We are happy today!
